Write for the decision that follows

Filipino research staff should receive a business question, not only a keyword. The handoff should state what decision the finding will inform and which claims are material.

For each claim, record the named publication or dataset, relevant page or table, retrieval date, scope, and limitation.

Keep fact and interpretation apart

A source may report an observation while the handoff infers a possible implication. Label those layers so a manager can challenge the interpretation without losing the evidence.

When two reputable sources use different definitions, explain the difference instead of averaging the claims.

Make the next check reproducible

Include the search boundary, included period, exclusions, and open question. Another reviewer should be able to repeat the check without guessing what the researcher meant.

Sample handoffs for traceability and relevance before expanding the research lane.
